Spaghetti Carbonara

An old-time favorite, the flavor of bacon and cheese gives an alternate twist to your pasta.  Enjoy!

Your host, Brad

1 pound bacon
1 pound spaghetti
3/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
3 Tbl butter
Fresh ground pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Fry the bacon until it is crisp, drain and chop into tiny pieces.

Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water, until al dente.

Drain the spaghetti well but do no not rinse (never rinse pasta).  Add the spaghetti to a large bowl and add the bacon, cheese, butter and the ground pepper.  Add the eggs and stir very well to coat all of the spaghetti.  Service immediately.
