Apple Crisp

Sweet soft apples, mildly spiced, with
cinnamony crisp brown crumbs on top! It's really good with either heavy cream or
Vanilla Ice Cream on top. Enjoy!

5 cups peeled and sliced apples
1/3 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 pound butter, in small pieces
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a
1 1/2-quart baking dish, spread the apples in it, and sprinkle the water on top.
Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bow, and rub the butter with your fingers
(messy but fun) until it resembles coarse crumbs. Spread evenly over the
apples. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the crust is nicely browned.
