Cream Cheese Frosting 
The traditional frosting for spice cake or carrot cake for
dessert. So simple to make and a favorite on everyone's hit list. Enjoy!

8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 tsp vanilla
Combine the cream cheese, butter sugar and vanilla in a mixing
bowl. Beat well until blended and smooth. This should be enough to fill and
frost a two-layer 8-inch cake.
