Butterball Turkeys begin
landing on Thanksgiving tables in 1954.
The Delaney Clause, added to
the Pure Food and Drug Act, bans the addition of any carcinogen to food in 1958.
James Beard hosts I Love to Eat on NBC-TV
from 1946-1947. It is America's first television cooking show.
