Tuna and Noodle Casserole

Catch a tuna for supper!

Mocked quite often, Tuna and Noodle Casserole is a creamy, enjoyable meal for either dinner or lunch.  Enjoy!

Your Host,  Brad

1 7-oz. can of tuna
3 cups medium white sauce
1 cup grated light cheddar cheese
1 cup sweet peas
1 mini can sliced mushrooms
8 oz. noodles
buttered bread crumbs

Drain and flake tuna.  Combine tuna, cheese, peas and mushrooms to white sauce, then keep warm in a double-boiler over boiling water.   Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling salted water, until noodles are tender.   Drain well.

Arrange noodles in alternate layers with the creamed tuna in a buttered casserole.  Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top and bake in a moderate oven about 350°F for about 20 minutes.
