Drawn Butter

Rich and flavorful to dunk your favorite seafood into.  Enjoy!

Your host, Brad

1/4 cup butter
2 Tbl flour
1 cup boiling water
1/8 tsp salt (unless you are using salted water)
Dash of white pepper

Melt half of the butter in a saucepan.  Blend in the flour and gradually add the boiling water, stirring constantly until smooth.  Continue stirring until the sauce boils and thickens.

Add the salt and pepper and remove from heat.  Add remaining butter a little at a time, beating well after each addition.

Place in individual cups and serve warm.
