Chicken Noodle Soup  Chicken Soup Stock

Perhaps one of the most comforting and familiar recipes is good ol' Chicken Noodle Soup.  Whether you are fighting a cold or just want a delicious, tasty treat, this recipe just can't be beat.  Enjoy!

Your Host, Brad

4 cups chicken broth (home-made is best)
1 stalk celery
1 1/2 ounces flat egg noodles (uncooked)
1/3 cup cooked chicken meat, cut into bite-size pieces
Freshly ground pepper
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley

Simmer the chicken broth and celery together in medium pot for about 5 minutes.   Add the noodles and cook until the noodles are tender, about 8 minutes.  Add the chicken pieces and cook another 2 minutes.  Add pepper to taste (I have purposely left out salt) and parsley.
